Motorola introduced the Edge 70 in India on Monday, adding it to its Edge series of smartphones. This new device will be sold through various retail outlets, both online and in stores, and it comes in three Pantone colors. The Motorola Edge 70 is run by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. It also includes a 5,000mAh silicon carbon battery. The smartphone supports 68W fast charging with a wired connection and 15W fast charging wirelessly. It features a square-shaped camera module that houses a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. The price of the Motorola Edge 70 in India is set at Rs. 29,999 for the single model that has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, the company is providing a Rs. 1,000 discount for certain bank cards. The phone will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart, the Motorola India online store, and various offline shops. The Motorola Edge 70 will come in Pantone Bronze Green, Pantone Gadget Grey, and Pantone Lily Pad shades.
The Motorola Edge 70 runs on Android 16 with Hello UI and is expected to receive three significant Android updates along with four years of security updates. It has a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a refresh rate up to 120Hz, brightness reaching 4,500 nits at its peak, Gorilla Glass 7i shielding, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ content support. The phone has IP68 and IP69 ratings for being resistant to dust and water, plus it holds a military-grade durability certification called MIL-STD-810H. This device is driven by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, combined with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The latest Motorola phone also comes with Moto AI features like Next Move, Catch Me Up 2.0, Pay Attention 2.0, Remember This + Recall, and Co-pilot.

For photography, the Motorola Edge 70 includes a triple rear camera setup, featuring a primary 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, it has a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a three-in-one light sensor. On the front, there's a 50-megapixel camera for selfies. The smartphone can record videos in up to 4K resolution at 60fps. It is also equipped with tools like AI Video Enhancement, AI Action Shot, and AI Photo Enhancement. With its 5,000mAh silicon carbon battery, the Motorola Edge 70 is said to provide up to 31 hours of continuous video playback. It supports both 68W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. The phone features an aircraft-grade aluminum frame and measures 5.99mm in thickness. The total weight of the device is approximately 159g.
