
William Allen, 65, was the man jailed for secretly videotaping a child. William Allen, co-owner of Cirque La Symphonie was sent to jail on Wednesday, as he was found guilty for secretly videotaping a child in sexual and intimate way in Boston hotel room.
William Allen is from Georgia, faced Suffolk Superior Court judge and was sentenced to jail for two years and 10 years of probation.
The Suffolk Country District Attorney’s office said, Allen secretly filmed a child circus performer employed by his company during a trip to Boston, in June 2015.

Allen admitted that, he was meeting the victim at Logan International Airport. The victim was under the age of 16, as Allen admitted. Allen bought the victim to Fairmont Copley Plaza, where he reserved rooms for both of them.
As told by investigators, evidences against Allen, shows that he had set up a hidden camera in the victim’s room. Later, while visiting Allen’s room, victim discovered images of himself and contacted the hotel security.
Prosecutors said, the security officers of the hotel found three wireless cameras hidden in smoke detectors of the victim’s bedroom and bathroom.
When Boston police seized Allen’s electronic devices, they found the videos of the victim in “various states of undress”. They also discovered images of second victim, which were taken in a different hotel.
While Allen is in jail and on probation, he is strictly denied from having any unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18.
