The Amazfit Active 3 Premium was introduced on Thursday as a small smartwatch designed for beginner runners and versatile athletes. It is made for activities like road running, strength training, and workouts in studios. This smartwatch has a stainless steel body, an AMOLED screen covered with sapphire that shines brightly at 3,000 nits, and its battery can last up to 12 days. It includes organized running plans, in-depth performance data, offline maps with directions, and wide compatibility with other applications, making it a well-rounded gadget for training and daily life. The price is set at $169.99 (around Rs. 15,500), and it can be purchased in the US through Amazfit.com and Amazon. There has been no word yet on when it will be available in other places, like India. The smartwatch comes in three colors: Apex Silver, Atlas Blue, and Aero White.

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium has a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, a pixel density of 353ppi, and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The display is shielded by sapphire glass. It provides 4GB of storage for music and offline maps and is compatible with the Zepp app on Android 7.0 and iOS 14.0 or newer. For health and fitness tracking, it uses the BioTracker PPG sensor to monitor heart rate, blood oxygen, stress levels, skin temperature, and sleep around the clock. The watch features the PAI health assessment system, breathing exercises, menstrual cycle tracking, and recovery insights. The Amazfit Active 3 Premium supports over 170 sports modes, automatically recognizes certain exercises, has built-in running workouts, offers personalized plans through Zepp Coach, and includes analysis for lactate threshold and running power, along with monitoring ground contact time, posture, and trajectory corrections.

For connectivity, the Amazfit Active 3 Premium includes Bluetooth 5.3 and BLE. It has a microphone and speaker for making calls over Bluetooth and supports the Zepp Flow voice assistant in certain areas. The watch also works with six satellite positioning systems, has offline maps, automatic rerouting capabilities, and can connect with external devices like heart rate monitors and cycling power meters. Users can synchronize their data with Strava, TrainingPeaks, Intervals. icu, Google Fit, and Apple Health. The Amazfit Active 3 Premium is powered by a 365mAh battery, claiming to last up to 12 days with normal use, up to 7 days with heavy use, and up to 24 hours during constant GPS tracking. It also provides daily functions like notifications, music control, camera management on iOS, weather info, and reminders to move. The smartwatch has a 45mm stainless steel case weighing 38g without the strap, and it is rated for water resistance up to 5 ATM.
