Demonstrating the achievements of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Air Force (IAF) released a video on Sunday that highlighted an assault on terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The IAF shared a video that lasts around six minutes on platform X, showing its capability and strength in protecting the nation. The footage depicts how India sought revenge for the Pahalgam incident on April 22, where 26 civilians were killed. The video noted that “IAF acted with accuracy, swift action, and determination,” showcasing aerial assaults by Indian jets on terror locations in Pakistan and PoK. It also included images and clips that displayed the “destroyed” terror camps. Additionally, the video featured fighter jets engaged in the 1971 conflict with Pakistan, and referenced the Kargil war along with Indian counterstrikes following the Pulwama attack in 2019.

“When the skies darken and threats emerge across the land or water, there is a particular force that stands tall. Extensive, fearless, and accurate. The Indian Air Force”. The Indian military initiated Operation Sindoor on May 7, targeting several terror camps in Pakistan and PoK, resulting in the deaths of over 100 terrorists. Following India’s military actions, Pakistan launched a significant missile and drone offensive, which India successfully countered. In response, Indian forces targeted airfields in Pakistan. Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh mentioned last Saturday that during Operation Sindoor, the IAF downed five Pakistani fighter jets and a large aircraft. “We identified at least one AWC in that AWC hangar, along with several F-16s currently under maintenance. We confirmed the destruction of at least five fighter jets and one large aircraft, which could either be an aircraft or an AWC, taken from a distance of about 300 kilometers. This represents the largest surface-to-air kill we've recorded,” he stated at an event in Bengaluru.
