Weeknight cooking is no more a drab with an easy, tasty dish as this. For a midweek meal that packs in both taste and health and saves time more importantly, this vegan pesto pasta dish is a real bail-out. Rustle up this tasty, homemade pasta in 10 minutes flat and wow your folks and friends to a delectable pasta dinner that they will remember for days to come. Try it on.

Ingredients:
1 cup of basil leaves washed and de-stemmed
250g pasta
2 garlic cloves
Juice of 1/2 lime
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp of olive oil
1/2 cup of powdered cashews

Method:
In a blender, blend the basil leaves
Add cashew powder, salt and pepper, 2 garlic cloves, lime juice and olive oil
Blend the ingredients into a fine paste
In a bowl, take the boiled pasta and add the pesto paste to  it. Mix well and serve.
